Most people in marketing know the 7 principles of Robert Cialdini. Many have heard of Kahneman’s System 1 and System 2: fast thinking and slow thinking. Then we add the BJ Fogg Behavior Model. And things start to get a bit harder. When I mention David Rock’s SCARF model, 99% of the room has never heard of it. Add COM-B… and now people feel lost.
To really confuse everyone, I mention Perceptual Control Theory. Six models. Some well known, most not. Do you really need to understand all six? For the human brain, this is too much. But this is where AI is great. AI loves complexity. It can handle models, patterns, and connections we can’t. As a human, you don’t need to do the hard work anymore. You can let AI do what is too complex for you and get insights at the press of a button.
