Few people enjoy micro-managing their home energy usage—especially with dynamic tariffs, capacity tariffs, and the added complexity of scheduling EV charging. In this presentation, Martijn will walk through a project where machine learning and optimization techniques were applied to simplify energy management for users.
To scale this solution across hundreds or even thousands of households, a serverless architecture on AWS was adopted. This talk will highlight key design choices, challenges, and lessons learned from bringing the system into production.
